Ellipse IPL Treatments
The Ellipse IPL machine is an advanced medical laser machine which treats numerous skin and hair conditions.
Hair Removal
Remove unwanted hair permanently! IPL can be used on any area of the body where the hair has pigment (blonde, white, gray or red hair cannot be treated). Hair grows in 3 cycles, therefore approximately 6-10 treatments are necessary to complete a course. No more shaving, ingrown hairs or depilatory creams are necessary! Depending on the area being treated, the treatments are approximately 4 - 8 weeks apart. Inbetween treatments there will be a reduction in the hair, sometimes appearing in patches, until there is no more hair growth at the end of the treatment course. Dark, thick hair responds best to the IPL treatments.
IPL works in that the light from the IPL machine is attracted to the follicle of the hair and destroys the hair in the Anagen phase of growth. Not all hair is in Anagen at one time, so this means that the hair which was in other stages of growth will still grow back inbetween treatments. No tweezing or waxing may take place inbetween treatments - only shaving. If treating hair on the face or exposed areas, ensure that sunblock is applied. No sunbathing or sunbeds may be used while having IPL treatments.

Skin Rejuvenation
The Ellipse IPL machine effectively improves skin texture. By stimulating the production of collagen, the Ellipse IPL improves skin texture, refines pores and enhances tone. A full face treatment takes approximately 20 minutes. Clinical studies have shown that best results are obtained when treatments are approximately one month apart.
Pigmentation Unsightly pigmentation is effectively treated with Ellipse IPL. Pigmentation caused by sun damage is effectively treated, giving the skin a younger and smoother appearance. The treatment follows the same protocol as Skin Rejuvenation. | |
